This ambitious reforestation project aims to plant 5,000 trees near Wat Rat Songkhro, Udon Thani, to combat climate change and support biodiversity. Using innovative tracking technology from EcoMatcher, donors can monitor the growth and impact of their trees in real time.

Pilot for Expansion Trees 5000 serves as a pilot project with plans for future expansion. We intend to sell trees planted in temple communities as premium offerings due to their blessed nature. These trees will appeal to specific communities, including Buddhists, meditators, and yoga practitioners, and will be marketed on the EcoMatcher platform. After three years, when the trees begin to effectively sequester CO2, we plan to sell the generated carbon credits. The proceeds from both the premium tree sales and the carbon credit transactions will be donated back to the local communities, further supporting their development and sustainability initiatives. Our first pilot programme plans to begin with a space of 50 acres and sell each tree at $7. Each tree could also absorb around 20-30 kg of carbon dioxide every year once it has reached the rate where it has the ability to effectively sequester carbon dioxide.

Their platform has a three step approach
TreeCorder: Utilized by farmers to record detailed information about each tree, including its location, planting date, and caretaker.
TreeManager: Allows businesses to manage and integrate tree-planting initiatives into their operations, offering tools for corporate gifting, employee engagement, and customer loyalty programs.
